11th Annual Concorso Ferrari Wows Thousands in Pasadena

A 1963 Ferrari 400 SuperAmerica, owned by Donnie Crevier of Costa Mesa, California, was judged Best In Show at the Concorso Ferrari, Sunday, April 22, in Old Town Pasadena. For the 11th annual event, 6,000 to 7,000 Prancing Stallion fans saw 140 cars on three blocks of Colorado Boulevard, from mid-century purpose-built racers to contemporary supercars. The crowd also enjoyed Ferrari memorabilia, accessories, quality apparel and generous sponsor displays. Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Auction Posts $39.4 Million in Sales

Record attendance, record auction sales, the most registered bidders ever for a Palm Beach auction, including new bidders, and three docketed car collections helped make the 16th Barrett-Jackson Florida event, April 12–15, the best yet. Altogether, 692 vehicles sold, nearly all at No Reserve, exceeding $38.3 million, and 380 items of automobilia brought another $702,000-plus.
