Scuderia Southwest September 2019 Scottsdale Motorsports Gathering post photo coverage
Scuderia Southwest, after a summer hiatus, held their restructured cars and coffee event, the Scottsdale Motorsports Gathering, on Saturday September 7 in the same location at the Scottsdale 101 Shopping Center.
At over 800 cars the event had grown so large that it was becoming too hard to manage so the guys at Scuderia Southwest implemented a new club membership and limited the event to under 300 cars. Membership dues include not only access to the event, but to other planned club activities including drives and rallies, seminars and tech sessions, brunches and dinners, and special discounts. The event continues to be free and open to spectators.
This month the rows were filled with Ferraris, Lamborghinis, McLarens, Porsches, Aston Martins, Corvettes, Vipers. Attracting the most attention from a large and enthusiastic audience were a very rare Koenigsegg, a Porsche 918 and two of the new Ford GTs.
Scuderia Southwest also hosts the annual Concours in the Hills event each February where all makes and models are welcome.
