Scuderia Southwest July Scottsdale Motorsports Gathering Post Photo Coverage
The car guys and gals in the valley really are a passionate and hardy lot as evidenced by the huge turnout on Saturday July 7 despite the sweltering 110+ degree temperature. In fact, over 500 brought out cars and thousands of spectators endured the heat to ogle them.
The feature was Red, White & Blue American Sports Cars for Independence Day. The feature row was filled with Corvettes, Cobras, Mustangs with a rare and lone Devin, but attracting most attention was a brand new 2018 Ford GT in red with white stripes parked next to its older sister, a 2006 Ford GT also in red with white stripes.
The feature for Saturday August 4 is German Cars where you can see examples of classic and contemporary models from Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Audi.
The feature for Saturday September 1 is “Pairs” where classic and current models will be placed side by side to show the evolution. This will include front engine V12 Ferraris, rear engine V12 Lamborghinis, C1 & C2 Corvettes next to C7 Vettes, and so on.
