For over 20 years, Luxor Auto Group has been incorporating its refined style into luxury and exotic vehicles. Their newest endeavor, Couture Customs, a unique concept luxury boutique, mixing customized exotic automobiles and fashion in one breathtaking 14,000 sq ft designer showroom, opens in Scottsdale February 15th.
In high fashion, Couture refers to the creation of exclusive custom-fitted clothing; a couture garment is made specifically for the wearer’s measurements and body stance. Couture Customs takes the same couture approach when custom fitting and customizing a vehicle for the most discriminating owner. Buyers like Alicia Keys, who just picked up her customized Fisker.
The exquisitely appointed showroom can best be described as “Modern Baroque” in style, and most certainly looks nothing like even the most upscale auto dealership. From the leather tufted doors, the variety of chandeliers, piano wood throughout, Louis chairs in the lounge, to the billiard table and gold leafing on the ceiling, Couture Customs is an opulently magnificent work of art that welcomes it’s guests and invites them to come in and stay a while. In fact, some will want to come in just to take in Sir Elton John’s famous red piano…yes the one from the “Red Piano Tour”…yes it’s signed…and yes..for the right price, it is for sale.
Whether browsing the current inventory, designing a dream car, or peering into the jewelry cases of the Isaac Jewelers in house boutique, one of the Valley’s most prominent fine jewelry purveyors, clients simply won’t want to leave.
To add a further level of polish and beauty to the experience, the showroom is staffed with exotic beauties from around the world, who also happen to be fully trained, incredibly knowledgeable experts in their field, dedicated to approaching each client, each project, with its own unique individuality.
“We want every client’s experience to surpass their wildest expectations, from the beginning to the end”, said Sy Salari. CEO of Couture Customs, and Luxor Auto Group. “Our philosophy of accepting nothing short of perfection is evident in every aspect of our work. We pride ourselves on our customer service and quality of our finished product, but it doesn’t end there. We make sure our clients understand that the relationship isn’t over when they drive off the lot. It’s actually just beginning. We’ve been incredibly fortunate to have a huge percentage of our clients return time after time for their next vehicle. That means they trust us, and that’s what really matters most. We don’t just sell cars. We help our customers bring their automotive dreams to life.”
“I couldn’t find the sports car of my dreams, so I built it myself.” Ferdinand Porsche
What also separates Couture Customs from other customization shops is that for the clients who aren’t interested in designing a custom car, or don’t have the desire to wait for a one of a kind vehicle, all they need to do is visit the showroom and choose from a spectacular array of exotic vehicles, already fully customized with the highest quality options.
The design center boasts literally thousands of combinations to choose from: from wheels, to leathers and exotic skins, interior liners, audio/video, paint colors and metallics, and accessories, all painstakingly selected from only the best names in the industry, like Mansory/Wald, Caractere, Fairy Design, Hamann, Vorsteiner, Misha Design, Novitec, Prior Design and Overfinch. Through a rigorous process that includes the highest technical advancements, combined with unparalleled craftsmanship and the most precious materials available, cars don’t just look good, they perform at the top of their game as well.
“We are so incredibly grateful to the community that has shown us such wonderful support over the last 20 years. We’ve been received with open arms, and even in these tough economic times, while we’ve felt the pinch like everyone else, we’re still here and growing. And for that kindness, we want to give back to the community that’s given us so much. In that vein, at least 4-5 times a year, we will be working with local charities and holding events that are dedicated to raising funds and awareness. We’ve got some great evenings on the calendar we can’t wait to share!” said Sy.
In celebration of the Grand Opening, Couture Customs is hosting a night to remember on February 28th. While guests sip on cocktails and mingle with celebrities, pro athletes and other well known faces from around the country, they’ll be treated to a live performance by international recording artist Mya, and a fashion show by Michael Costello, from Project Runway, and Project Runway Allstars, featuring his new Couture Fall ’13 Collection titled, “The Socialite”. The evening will also hold a silent auction to benefit MaxLove, an organization dedicated to giving the gift of hope to kids fighting cancer.
