This past May, the Valley witnessed the grand opening of a revolutionary concept in luxury automotive storage known as Motor Vault. Founder, Vern Haugen, a seasoned real estate developer and connoisseur of fine automobiles, built this based on a personal need. As Haugen was downsizing his home, he encountered a familiar predicament—a scarcity of garage space for his cherished collection of vehicles. As he searched for a solution, he was intrigued by the existing toy garage concept, but envisioned more of a social country club like community. The primary objective was clear: offer centralized locations to store an array of toys and shield vehicles from the relentless Arizona heat. However, build it to foster a lifestyle and a sense of belonging for automotive enthusiasts in the Valley. And he has done just that with the first in Fountain Hills. Motor Vault transcends its primary purpose of a storage facility and has evolved into a haven where passion and camaraderie thrive. For the owners of these garages, Motor Vault symbolizes more than a practical storage solution; it reimagines the nostalgic essence of a childhood treehouse- a retreat from the world. Here, it is a getaway exclusive to you, where it’s just you, your possessions, and the sanctuary of your own personal space. Owners have discovered it is a destination to unwind, socialize and revel in the shared passion for automobiles. Motor Vault is a place where memories are being made, friendships forming, and a unique sense of community that is flourishing.
Motor Vault provides the ideal space solution for all types of cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, jet skis, ATV’s and RV’s. Ownership includes access to the common areas, a member’s-only club house and monthly social events.
