When it comes to the presence of a road vehicle, size plays a large part, and they don’t come much larger than the new 2025 Nissan Armada PRO-4X. 17.5 feet long, almost 7 feet wide, and over 6.5 feet tall, the all-new Armada is a massive, 3-row, 8-seat full-size SUV. The curb weight of this generation tops out at just over 6,000 pounds, similar to an extended length Cadillac Escalade. No longer are full-size SUVs released in only black, white, and a few shades of silver. Buyers can still choose the more traditional color options for their Armada, but Nissan has also provided a unique variety of colors as well, such as Deep Ocean Blue Pearl, Alpine Metallic, Coulis Red Pearl and a number of two-tone color schemes. Special to the PRO-4X trim level, small orange accents can be found both on the inside and outside of the vehicle. Optional on the PRO-4X are Nismo (yes, the same Nismo synonymous with Nissan’s most aggressive sports cars), bronze or black finish 18” off-road wheels.
Inside the Armada PRO-4X is why this full-size SUV deserves to be called a luxury SUV. Interior creature comforts include tri-zone climate control, quilted leather heated & ventilated seats, second-row heated seats, 12-way power adjustable front seats, a 14.3” digital dashboard w/ NissanConnect & SiriusXM satellite radio, and a premium 12-speaker Klipsch audio system. PRO-4X 4W trim is the Armada for customers who enjoy off-road adventures or the path less paved. The Armada’s many different drive modes, diff. and HI/LO gearbox, and hill start & decent assist means this SUV is well capable of “utility” when needed. However, with the impressive adaptive electronic air suspension, just because you’re off-road doesn’t mean you shouldn’t experience a smooth and comfortable ride. 425 hp and 516 lbs. of torque from the twin-turbo V6 makes it the most powerful Armada ever. The new 9-speed automatic transmission with 40% more gear ratio also means the SUV has both more acceleration and fuel efficiency than previous generations as well.
