Manhattan has come to Scottsdale Quarter with the opening of Michael Dominick’s Lincoln Avenue Prime Steakhouse, at the southwest corner of Scottsdale Quarter, near Greenway-Hayden Loop and Scottsdale Road.

The two-level, 10,500-sq.-ft. Dominick’s combines luxury décor and personal service with cuisine prepared by Executive Chef Marc Lupino and staff, whose diverse food and wine menu features prime steaks, fresh seafood, classic Italian specialty items as well as an extensive selection of California and European varietals.

Design elements for the 350-seat restaurant include six-foot handmade crystal chandeliers, mohair-upholstered ceilings, embossed leather walls, mosaic marble floors, rooftop poolside dining, White Veneto marble bar tops and supple leather booths.

The unique rooftop poolside dining room offers radiant heating at every table and trees designed with Tivoli lights, opening to the nighttime sky, resembling the upper gardens of Rockefeller Center.

“Dominick’s Steakhouse is truly a first for the Valley, with a new breed of elegance for the local luxury dining scene,” says Oliver Badgio, the restaurant’s director of VIP services. The ownership team comprises steak-restaurant veterans Michael Mastro, Dennis Mastro, Jeffrey Mastro and Scott Troilo.

Lupino, a graduate of the Scottsdale Culinary Institute, where he earned his degree in culinary arts and sciences, masterfully interweaves the culinary traditions of fine American steakhouse with classic Italian specialty dishes.

His signature items include a Chef’s Cut Prime-aged Filet; Braised Veal Shank; Idaho Rainbow Trout; Maryland-style Lump Crab Cake; Baked Clams; Veal Parmesan; and Fettuccini Alfredo with side dishes such as Dominick’s au gratin potatoes. Patrons are also enjoying the Two-pound Maine Lobster stuffed with Maryland lump crab meat; a Porterhouse for Two; Gnocchi with Lobster Alfredo; and Filet of Sole Francese.

A valet and entry area features a hand-puttied leaded glass illuminated sign and a revolving glass entry door. Just inside, the restaurant foyer includes a gallery space with lighted paintings and artwork.

Deep rich browns, copper, and red earth tones dominate the palette in the elevated dining areas, two private dining rooms with a 3,000-bottle wine cellar and intimate spaces throughout.

To complement the dining experience, live entertainment is offered nightly on the piano.

Michael Dominick’s Lincoln Avenue Prime Steakhouse is open seven days a week, 5 p.m. to midnight, for dinner service and 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. in the bar. For reservations, which are requested but not required, call 480.272.7271. For more information on Dominick’s Steakhouse, dominickssteakhouse.com.
