The stunning Mexican coastline has been a choice destination for centuries, and not just for tourists. The small fishing village of Cabo San Lucas once attracted both treasure hunters and traders, seeking the find of a lifetime or simply respite from the hardships of daily life.
Today, Cabo San Lucas continues to provide the latter, and the Corazón Cabo Resort & Spa is one of the finest ways to accomplish that goal. Nestled in the heart of the golden Medano Beach, Corazón Cabo boasts a total of 305 luxury guest rooms and suites split between the large group-friendly Bayview Tower, the patios of the Medano Tower, and the newest Corazón Tower with its expansive window views.
Amenities are equally as plentiful as the surrounding beauty, headlined by two oceanfront infinity pools, the world-class “Sparitual” spa, and the 2500-square-foot fitness center. Hungry or pining for a refreshing drink? Stop by the waterfront Aleta restaurant for a seasonal selection of daily caught seafood amidst the waves from the Sea of Cortez, or a brew from Baja Brewing Co., Cabo’s only microbrewery. Then, as the sun dips beneath the clouds and evening falls upon Cabo, head to the recently elevated and always-buzzing Rooftop 360, the city’s highest rooftop beach bar, complete with live DJ sets.
When it’s time to set off on an adventure, there are more than enough wonders around Cabo San Lucas to fill up any itinerary. Historic cities like San José del Cabo and Todos Santos are less than an hour away, offering hundreds of years of art and architecture on display, as well as hiking, golfing, and ample shopping spots to please all palates. If marine wildlife is your passion, you’re also in the right spot. Cabo Pulmo, La Paz, Pescadero, and Cabo San Lucas itself are hotspots for everything from surfing, fishing, snorkeling, and scuba diving, allowing you to see Mother Nature’s underwater creations up close and personal.
Of course, who says you have to leave the resort for any of these? We bring the adventure to you, with paddle boarding, Snuba, whale watching, and golden hour yoga available on site or through our hospitable concierge service.
Corazón Cabo also offers a wealth of unique venues and services to turn your next event or professional getaway into lifetime memories. The resort is located just 27 miles from the Los Cabos International Airport and boasts seven meeting rooms totaling 10,000 square feet, plus 36,000 square feet of outdoor venue space, for a whopping 46,600 square feet of total venue space. Add in the numerous hosted activities above, and your guests won’t want to have an event anywhere else again.
It’s easy to appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds us, but being a part of such a piece of paradise wouldn’t last if we didn’t play our part in taking care of it. That is why Corazón Cabo is a proud partner of Los Carbon Children’s Foundation, whose mission is “to promote, strengthen and advance programs that have a focus on health and wellness for children and youth in Baja California Sur, to improve their quality of life.”
So, what are you waiting for? Take the plunge, whether literally or metaphorically, and book a stay at the Corazón Cabo Resort & Spa. With so much to do and see, both within steps from your suite or a mere short drive away, you’ll quickly understand why Cabo San Lucas has been such a keystone destination for so many years.
