Innovative Edison Concours to debut in 2015
Prominent car collector Judge Joseph Cassini III is the impetus behind the Edison Concours d’Elegance, which promises to be the automotive talk-of-the-town the weekend of October 17-18. Cassini, whose impeccable classics have won Best of Show at top concours events from coast to coast, founded the show as a means to honor Thomas Edison’s automotive influence and to raise funds for three noteworthy non-profits in his local community:
Edison Innovation Foundation
Llewellyn Park Preservation Foundation
West Orange Scholarship Fund
The car show will take place on the 16-acre grounds of the Edison Estate, known as Glenmont, in the historic planned community of Llwellyn Park, located in West Orange, New Jersey.
