The 8th Annual Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships comes to WestWorld of Scottsdale November 10th and 11th and once again the pageantry of polo will be joined by heart stopping horsepower courtesy of the nation’s premiere collector car auction, Barrett-Jackson.

It’s only fitting that Barrett-Jackson, known as the “World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions”, is once again bringing its one-of-a-kind horsepower to what’s been called “The Best Polo Event in the World.”

This year’s Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships feature a first-time appearance by Ralph Lauren model and world-famous polo player Nacho Figueras. It also features amazing cars from the upcoming Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction, returning as a signature sponsor of the polo event.

The Barrett-Jackson preview is part of a proud list of returning horsepower, including car displays from title sponsor Bentley Scottsdale, Highline Autos, Sanderson Lincoln, Earnhardt North Scottsdale Hyundai, Courtesy Volvo, Ferrari Club of America, Arizona Lamborghini Club, Scottsdale Corvette Club and Concours In The Hills. New to 2018 will be the debut of the Apex Cup, courtesy of the landmark new Apex Motor Club in Maricopa, Arizona; a country club for car enthusiasts.

This year’s polo event takes place over two days and features six matches with Nacho Figueras, joining us for the first time thanks to Marc and Melissa Ganzi’s Aspen Valley Polo Club. It also includes teams from Italy, Malibu, Miami and Wales. They will join the Arizona Polo Club, Polo Azteca and Work To Ride, the first all African-American high school polo champions in American history. Returning this year is Ashley Busch, a long-time polo player, model and global brand ambassador for the USPA and wife of NASCAR Champion Kurt Busch.

Sunday’s matches include The International, which will feature the best players from the weekend playing each other for the highest goal match of the event. It will be preceded by a “Battle of the Sexes” match in honor of Sunny Hale, the greatest female polo player of all time.

Barrett-Jackson, headquartered in Scottsdale, has been a sponsor of the event since its inception. This year, the company will once again sponsor The Barrett-Jackson Champagne & Jazz Lounge, the only champagne bar on-site, as well as PRIME: A Luxury Tent by Steak 44, Neiman Marcus, and Barrett-Jackson. Both include covered field-side seating with a variety of hosted food and beverage options.
