The Arizona Concours d’Elegance returns to the lawns of the Scottsdale Civic Center on Sunday, January 24, 2027, with a showcase of rare and exceptional automobiles from the past and present.
Professionally judged and curated, the 9th edition of the Arizona Concours will be conducted under the theme The Art of Elegance at Speed, with more than 100 rarely seen dream cars and high-value collector vehicles on display and competing for awards.
The featured marque is a great one, celebrating the 80th anniversary of Ferrari, and the Ferrari community has already responded with terrific examples of the legendary Italian race cars and sports cars entered for up-close viewing.
“We have been receiving historic entries, especially rare Ferraris,” noted Chuck Stanford, Jr., co-chairman of the Arizona Concours along with Ed Winkler. “This will be an amazing field filled with spectacular cars from Maranello.”
Ferrari entries for the 2027 Concours include some stunning examples, such as a 1949 166 MM Touring Barchetta, one of the earliest Ferraris; a 1964 Ferrari 250 GTO Series II, one of only 3 produced; and a rare 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/6C, its V12 engine equipped with the optional 6-Weber carburetor setup.
The Arizona Concours is held in the atmosphere of a stylish garden party, designed to impress and excite not only dedicated car lovers but anyone who appreciates beautiful design and fine engineering. Related activities – the Saturday seminars and a Monday entrants’ event – will extend the 3-day Concours weekend from January 23 to 25.
The collector vehicles arrayed on the Scottsdale Civic Center lawn will vie for awards in their respective classes, culminating in the coveted Best of Show awards, one for pre-Second World War and the other for post WWII.
The Concours committee has designated 16 classes for January, including 3 Ferrari classes; a class for endurance racing cars (as in Le Mans, Daytona and Sebring) of the late 20th Century; elegant cars of the 1950s, focusing on American luxury craft; and the Arizona Concours’ first class dedicated to Japanese cars, pre-2005 including rare JDMs (Japanese Domestic Market).
Owners and caretakers of high-caliber vehicles are urged to submit their entries as quickly as possible. To submit your entry, sign on to ArizonaConcours.org and click on “Vehicle Submission” for the form that guides you through the entry process.
Ticket prices, which allow spectators to get up close to examine the high-value collector vehicles parked on the grass, are now discounted through November 30. See ArizonaConcours.org/tickets for the complete list of ticket prices.
Proceeds from the Arizona Concours support its longtime beneficiary Make-A-Wish® Arizona, the founding chapter of the national organization that grants wishes for children facing life-threatening medical conditions.
The Arizona Concours is presented in partnership with Scottsdale Arts, the organization responsible for an array of artistic services in the city.
