This could be your ticket to ride! Buy one or more raffle tickets to support the Ronald McDonald House Charities Central Valley of Madera, south of San Francisco, and you may win one of two American icons — a beautiful 1962 Corvette Fuelie Roadster, or a 2024 Corvette Stingray.
This is the 31st year that RMHCCV has conducted collector car raffles. Each prize is a separate raffle. Donations start at $5 for one ticket, and the more you buy the better the deal: $10 for 5, $25 for 15, $35 for 25, $50 for 40, $100 for 100, and $200 for 240. RMHCCV provides a “home away from home” for families while their child is being treated in a local hospital, explains David Ashjian, Director of Promotions for RMHCCV. The house has 18 guest rooms. Each room is similar to a hotel room, with two queen-size beds, restroom/ shower and satellite TV. Guests share common areas such as kitchens, laundry rooms, playrooms and the living room. Meals are often provided by local businesses, church groups, schools, clubs and other community organizations, he adds.
“On days when meals aren’t provided, there are fully stocked pantries that our guest families have access to,” Ashjian says. He notes that families pay nothing to stay; some stay for just a tew days, while others stay for weeks or even months, depending on the severity of their child’s illness or injury.
Dressed in striking Tuxedo Black with a gorgeous new red leather interior, restored black hard top, and a new black soft top. The 1962 Corvette Roadster has a 360hp, 327ci fuel injected V8 and shifts gears through a 4-speed manual. The paint, chrome, and stainless trim are show-quality. Walking around this car, the meticulous restoration is obvious. This Fulie has a rebuilt, date code correct 327/360hp replacement black to avoid engine issues in the future. The original 327/360hp black comes with the car. To make this Corvette even more special, it comes with a restoration pictorial documenting the drivetrain, component part numbers and restoration process.
The Torch Red 2024 3TL C8 Corvette is powered by a 6.2-liter V-8, producing 495 horsepower and 470 lb/It of torque, and does 2.9 second 0-60 mph sprints through the 8-speed dual clutch automatic. The Z51 Performance Package includes a limited slip differential, Brembo brakes, a Z51 rear spoiler, and GT2 bucket seats.
The entry deadline for both Corvettes is November 22 11:59PM PST. The winners will be selected on December 13, 2024. Ashjian stated how important fundraising is for Ronald McDonald House Charities. “Support through our raffles helps ensure we can continue to provide a home away from home for families while they go through such a difficult time in their lives.” For more information, visit www.rmhccv-win.com.
