Nestled in the heart of automotive excellence, Rolling Art Motorsports stands as a testament to the artistry and precision that define classic car aesthetics and concours-level detailing. Under the leadership of Michael Freeland and Jay Lewton, maestros in automotive aesthetic management, the team at Rolling Art Motorsports has built a formidable reputation for their meticulous craftsmanship and unwavering dedication to quality.
From its early days, Rolling Art Motorsports has been a beacon of excellence, approaching each project with deep respect for history and a commitment to perfection.
Unmatched Aesthetic Restoration Expertise
Specializing in a range of automotive aesthetic services, Rolling Art Motorsports breathes new life into all vehicles that roll through the bay doors. From historic makes, to modern hypercars, and everything in between, every Rolling Art Motorsports project reflects their dedication to preserving automotive heritage. “For local clients, whether a car is stored at our facility or their residence, we manage all mechanical and cosmetic services, allowing them to enjoy their prized possession without any worries,” says Freeland.
One of the crowning achievements for Rolling Art Motorsports came at the prestigious Quail, A Motorsports Gathering 2022, where their concours preparation and expertise was on full display. The 1956 Jaguar D-Type, cosmetically revived and prepared for judging under Mike and Jay’s guidance, not only emerged as a class winner, but won best in show as well, a testament to the team’s unrivaled skill and attention to detail.
For concours cars, Rolling Art Motorsports performs all detail services in-house, and handles all vehicle transportation and logistics, from home garage to event lawn, Rolling Art Motorsport clients do not have to lift a finger more than they’d like. On site support and preparation? The team is often present to showcase client vehicles on the show field, all in the means of achieving those greatest results for their clients. Rolling Art Motorsports applies the same level of comprehensive service to auction vehicles, private collections, or anything that carries a sentimental value to their clients.
This result not only solidified Rolling Art Motorsports’ reputation as a leader in the automotive community, but also underscored their ability to deliver results that exceed expectations.
Excellence in Auction Preparation
Renowned for their client auction preparation services, Rolling Art Motorsports presents vehicles in the best possible light to potential buyers and collectors worldwide. I asked Jay, “What is the goal, what is the mindset when preparing a client’s vehicle for auction?” He replied, “We prepare cars for auction the same way we would assess a vehicle at auction for our clients, we know what to look for, and what others will be looking for; we make sure our work answers those buyer’s questions”.
Similarly, after a vehicle is purchased at auction, Rolling Art provides full white-glove service for their clientele. “Post auction, we assist with transport, hold the vehicle at our facility, address any mechanical or safety issues with our network of specialists, and complete any level of cosmetic reconditioning in-house,” explains Lewton. The keen eye for detail and understanding of market trends, consistently translate into successful auctions and satisfied clients on both sides of the experience.
Commitment to Automotive Heritage
At the core of Rolling Art Motorsports is a passion for automotive history and a commitment to excellence. Every project undertaken is imbued with artistry and respect for each vehicle’s legacy. Whether bringing a classic to its former glory, or caring for a modern masterpiece, Mike, Jay, and the rest of the Rolling Art Motorsport team delivers unparalleled craftsmanship and impeccable results.
For enthusiasts and collectors, Rolling Art Motorsports represents more than just an automotive shop; it embodies a dedication to preserving automotive heritage and celebrating the timeless beauty of all cars. As they continue to push boundaries and set new standards, one thing remains clear: at Rolling Art Motorsports, the art of the automobile is truly alive and thriving.
