2026 Concours in the Hills Raises $467,000 for Phoenix Children’s Foundation
Record Breaking Turnout and Ideal Weather Drive Historic Fundraising Success in Fountain Hills
The 2026 Phoenix Children’s Concours in the Hills delivered a landmark day of philanthropy and automotive excellence, raising $467,000 for Phoenix Children’s Foundation while drawing more than 50,000 spectators to Fountain Park. Under clear skies and perfect weather, 1,000 exceptional vehicles filled the park for one of the nation’s premier automotive charity events.
The event officially opened with appearances by legendary racing drivers Derek Daly, Didier Theys, Harley Cluxton, and Lyn St. James, setting the tone for a day that celebrated both motorsports history and community impact.

“This was a day we’ll remember for a long time,” said Peter Volny, founder of Concours in the Hills. “The turnout was incredible, the vehicles were worldclass, and most importantly, we raised nearly half a million dollars for kids who need it most. That’s what this event is all about, using our passion for cars to make a difference for Phoenix Children’s.”
A Spectacular Showcase With Purpose
The curated field represented an extraordinary crosssection of automotive history, from prewar classics and American muscle to European grand tourers, modern hypercars, motorcycles, helicopters, and specialty military vehicles. The vehicles on display were collectively valued at nearly half a billion dollars.

Notable featured vehicles included a 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO, the 1984 Indy 500winning Penske PC9, the Ken Milesdriven 1966 Ford GT40 Mk II Sebring winner, a 1of1 Shelby Cobra Lonestar, a 1965 Ferrari 500 Superfast, and a Ford Mustang GTD valued at $450,000. The iconic Fountain Hills fountain served as a striking backdrop throughout the day, with Darin Roberge of Motorwerks Companies serving as host and emcee.
Patients at the Heart of the Event
Patients and families from Phoenix Children’s played a central role in this year’s Concours. Patients kicked off the event, creating a powerful and meaningful start to the day. A dedicated patient helicopter tour experience allowed families to explore aircraft on site, offering moments of excitement and connection beyond the show itself.

A War Birds flyover thrilled attendees and underscored the scale and significance of the event.
MissionDriven Impact
Concours in the Hills raises funds for pediatric cancer research, treatment programs, and the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Phoenix Children’s. The $467,000 raised this year brings the event’s total impact to more than $3 million since its inception.

“This event shows what’s possible when a community comes together for our patients,” said Sandra Garcia of Phoenix Children’s. “Cars bring people together, but it’s the shared commitment to helping children that creates real change.”
The event remains free and open to the public, with funds generated through vehicle registrations, sponsorships, and the generosity of the automotive community.
Sponsors Make It Possible

The 2026 Concours in the Hills was made possible through the generous support of Valvoline Instant Oil Change, Talking Stick Resort, Discount Tire, The Joint Chiropractic, and Valley Toyota Dealers, whose partnership helped elevate the event and maximize its benefit for Phoenix Children’s patients and families.
