At Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale, Stop by the Vegas Off-Road Experience
VORE will be at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction Jan. 15-22, 2012.“We will have a very elaborate booth having an interactive display where you can view all videos and itineraries VORE offers, so please come over and check it out,” says Mike Self, vice president of Operations, for Las Vegas, Nev.-based Vegas Off-Road Experience. “We will have one of our $150,000 race trucks on display and a few giveaways, so don’t miss out.”
Formed four years ago, VORE expects to be the world’s greatest hands-on off-road company, providing hands-on road-racing and driving training. “We have pretty much completed that goal, and, with our strategic alliance with Ford and a new merger with the Desert Hills Shooting Range, very big things are happening for VORE,” he adds, noting that the company will soon also have a track.
The VORE challenge race trucks are similar to super-high-horsepower off-road trophy trucks — with about 300 horsepower, King shocks with 24 inches of wheel travel, a full radio communication system (so you can talk to all of your buddies while driving), GPS and a five-point safety harness.
The trucks incorporate an extra-wide stance, with rear engine design and a low center of gravity for stability and performance, while also providing comfort, Mike notes. Available for off-road adventurers are half-day, full-day, two-day and short-course packages. The company also offers lessons for those just beginning in the sport.
New are Ford-powered Raptors. This year, in fact, VORE is opening a Raptor driving school with many different Raptor packages and itineraries, he explains. Also, the company is known for its Corporate Incentive Program: See the YouTube video at http://www.vore.com/corp.html.
VORE clients can even arrange a limo or helicopter transportation to and from the starting location for their outings as well as shoot high-powered military-grade machine guns. Hoover Dam tours in Raptors and by helicopter are also available.
“We go the extra mile, and nobody in the world does this type of experience the way we do it,” he says. “We lay the red carpet for all of our clients and are not satisfied until they had the greatest time of their lives.”
